      Pros

      - You learn many skills because you have to do a lot - Good health care benefits

      Cons

      - No transparency from management , do as your told attitude - Was micromanaged, even though I had prior experience - only favoritism gave you a raise or promotion - expected to have no work life balance -severely underpaid - Employees not cared for during COVID and people had to work from 9pm-2am

      We take allegations about COVID-19 very seriously. State requirements have been implemented for safeguards, preventative measures, and procedures. During a COVID-19 crisis and upon employee request, Conagen allowed different work hours to provide flexibility and convenience to employees to minimize COVID-related concerns. Conagen HR and management are transparent about the performance review process and are accessible for one-to-one discussions. The HR Manager is always available to answer questions about the review and status updates.

      Pros

      Conagen has been a wonderful company starting out. Several things worth pointing out are within the overall atmosphere. Since Conagen is a small business, it allows the management team to easily help everyone get acquainted with the overall job feel. My colleagues have been wonderful helping me get setup in my developer area. Conagen does fun and interesting things such as having a large celebration once a month for all employees with birthdays that month. All expectations were made clear throughout the entire process. I look forward to making a full career at Conagen by achieving the expectations placed in front of me.

      Cons

      Conagen’s hiring process was wonderful and easily streamlined, but a bit intermittent. Conagen is growing, so it is a bit tight.
