Pros

CN brands are well-known, so even when you're talking to people who don't work in media, they'll recognize the brands. And if you play your cards right, it can open many doors when you leave.

Cons

Little room for movement up the ladder (typical) and CN can seem behind the ball when it comes to finding ways to promote growth. Higher management can seem disconnected. And like many companies, there is the expectation that you're "on" 24/7.

Pros

You’re wealthy enough to be relaxed, but not wealthy enough to be careless.

Cons

but NYC’s costs prevent true luxury unless income is much higher.

Pros

Great to be in proximity to such amazing brands like Vogue, Vanity Fair and the New Yorker

Cons

Pay is absolutely criminal unless you're "bonus eligible." Another billion dollar company crying poverty. Also, absolutely zero possibility of advancement.
