Pros
Flexible schedule, doing something different every day, getting out and exploring the city if the kids are old enough, having consistent hours and plenty of sick time, paid vacations with the family, etc
Cons
If the family you work for has a different parenting style than you it can be challenging. If the parents don’t reinforce the rules you put in place the kids won’t ever listen. It’s hard to know where your jurisdiction lies when you’re raising other peoples kids full time
