Pros
Like I said, I really enjoy the people I work with. Teams are divided into groups of about 5-6 Engineers. Each team kind of has their own personality and I love the way my team works together to overcome obstacles. I feel I have a lot to offer and a lot to gain from others.
There are a lot of cool problems to solve. Helping Target continue to be not only relative but innovative in an Amazon world is exciting. The potential of what is being built is really cool and I love being a part of it.
Healthy, fully stocked snacks are nice.
SLC office hires people who want to get stuff done and don't have ego problems.
Cons
As with any company migrating legacy code, ties to old systems are painful but Consensus is dedicated to killing ties to outdated system.
Some teams have struggled with cohesion because of fast growth and introduction of new personalities.
$100 per month to park sucks. No help from Consensus on that one.
