Pros

Good benefits, steady income, relaxed environment, helpful in learning how distribution works and the ins and outs of running an inventory based business

Cons

If you're not thrilled by electrical, it can be hard to see the value in what you have to learn to be successful in the job. You may sometimes feel underemployed depending on your branch because warehouse work may be necessary

Thank you for your review. We are an electrical wholesale supply company, so most employees need to be knowledgeable with the electrical industry and products. The motivation for future leaders and current trainees is the freedom that comes with being a Profit Center Manager. We give our employees and managers the independence to run the business the way he/she sees is best for the market. For the right person, that freedom is exhilarating and empowering.

Pros

Very nice coworkers and you get to travel a good amount in your first year. Guided training process wasn’t bad

Cons

Low pay and long hours. The contract they’ll have you sign in misleading on salary. You’re basically going to be a hourly employee your first 2/3 years and more likely than not are not going to be making the amount on the contract unless you do a lot of overtime. There is a lot of corporate pressure on being able to move wherever they tell you to also. My best advice is to look at what your local managers lives are like and consider if they’re happy or not. You have to have a certain amount of being a loner in you to be ok with their outlandish moving expectations.
