Pros
Incredible Staff: The team at CH is a big reason why it's such a great place to work. It's rare to find a workplace where almost everyone gets along, and that positive energy makes a huge difference day to day. Talented Colleagues: You'll be surrounded by some seriously talented people. Being part of a team where everyone is skilled at what they do pushes you to be your best and makes for a really high quality work environment. Gorgeous Hotel: It's hard to beat the aesthetics of CH. Working in such a beautiful setting is a daily perk that just makes the job more enjoyable.
Cons
Favoritism: This wasn't just about managers being friendly with a few people. The "favorites" were the ones who got the best shifts, the plum assignments, and the most opportunities for growth. This created a clear sense of unfairness. For everyone else, it felt like no matter how hard you worked or how talented you were, you'd never get ahead because the game was rigged. Bad Company Benefits: The benefits package was not a competitive one, especially for a full-time role. A hotel that doesn't offer robust benefits like good health insurance, a solid 401(k) plan, or, as mentioned before, paid time off, is sending a clear message that it doesn't prioritize the well-being of its employees.
