Pros
The training they provide is pretty comprehensive. . They'll give just about anyone with sales experience an opportunity.
Cons
The pay for what's required/expected of you is very poor. You get $10/hr plus a small commission for what's called fronting (telemarketing/cold calling) which means you're cold calling mainly New Yorkers (yuck) to try to get them to go with an Energy Supplier rather than their local utility company to supply their electricity and natural gas. You'll make, even as a solid fronter, about $13/hr until you become a closer which will go up to about $15/hr. You can't use PTO for the first year; not even on Christmas and Thanksgiving which are days the office isn't even open. The majority of the people aren't very friendly. A lot of the training material has been developed by Scientologists.
