Pros

This company is amazing! They honestly care about your well being, your career growth and have your best interest at heart. They are genuine and generous. They take the time to know you. They will support you and help you grow. The owner is kind and friendly and treats everyone fairly, he appreciates all his employees and it shows. The officers are tough, but fair and want this company to grow - they mean business. Working for Continental is rewarding. At other jobs I was always looking for something different, wanting to leave - that is not the case here, I don't want to leave. They are a "small" company with a huge heart. They really take pride in their business and the people who work for them. They keep you informed of the business details at confabs (quarterly meetings) and SOC (Yearly - State of the Company Meeting) - you will never guess how the business is doing. They know that we all work together to make Continental great! They appreciate us, and they show it, makes coming to work worth it! Truly a FABULOUS company!

Cons

If you are not prepared to work hard, be challenged or are not motivated, Continental is not for you.

Pros

Recently hired on from temporary role. Very excited to grow and learn from the working opportunity. I have encountered nothing but a wide variety of individuals/roles to gain knowledge and grow from in the construction workforce.

Cons

I see none at this time and don't anticipate any issues

Pros

Its really hard to find any that remain.

Cons

This company’s culture is fundamentally broken. Leadership and management have collectively mastered the art of gaslighting employees, creating an environment where accountability is nonexistent and blame is constantly shifted. This behavior is not isolated to a single department—it is embedded throughout the entire organization. If you enjoy walking on eggshells every day, constantly second-guessing yourself, and wondering when the next unnecessary criticism, shifting expectation, or political landmine will appear, this is the place for you. Simple decisions and routine tasks require approval, input, or interference from far too many people, resulting in endless bureaucracy, inefficiency, and frustration. Work-life balance is virtually nonexistent. Employees are expected to be available at all hours, time off is rarely respected, and boundaries between work and personal life are routinely ignored. The company proudly embraces a “do more with less” mentality, which in practice means chronic understaffing, unrealistic workloads, and employees being stretched far beyond reasonable expectations. Compensation fails to reflect the demands being placed on employees, leaving many overworked, underpaid, and burned out. One of the most telling signs of the organization’s decline is the growing number of long-tenured employees choosing to leave. People who have dedicated years of their careers to the company are walking away, taking valuable institutional knowledge with them. Rather than viewing this as a warning sign, leadership appears unwilling to acknowledge the underlying issues driving the turnover. Perhaps most concerning is the treatment of employees who speak up. Constructive feedback, concerns, and differing viewpoints are often ignored, dismissed, or quietly silenced. Employees who challenge the status quo or raise legitimate issues frequently find themselves marginalized to the point that it feels retaliatory. The message is clear: stay quiet, fall in line, and don’t question decisions. Overall, this is an organization driven by fear, politics, micromanagement, and dysfunction rather than trust, transparency, and accountability. Employee well-being takes a back seat to unrealistic expectations, and meaningful feedback is neither welcomed nor acted upon. For anyone seeking a healthy, supportive, and sustainable work environment, there are far better options elsewhere.
