Pros

Some exposure to different marketing projects early on, but the positives are very limited.

Cons

1. No clear direction — Different founders often set different expectations, which constantly shifts priorities and makes it hard to understand what success looks like. 2. Unstable work environment — Very high employee turnover. Several employees (including myself) did not stay beyond probation, which seems to be a recurring pattern. 3. Poor work-life balance — Expected to attend meetings outside normal work hours, including weekends. 4. Limited feedback and development support — Performance expectations are high but feedback is minimal or unclear, making it hard to improve or grow in the role. 5. Unrealistic expectations — Goals are sometimes set without considering available resources, timelines, or team capacity. 6. My probation was extended without clear reasoning, but the role ended shortly after key events, making the experience feel transactional rather than growth-oriented.

Pros

I worked here as a proofreader for around three years. The only significant advantage was the work-from-home setup, which was convenient.

Cons

* Lack of transparency from management regarding major decisions and organizational changes. * The shift timing changes were handled poorly. The company had long been known for its night-shift schedule, and many employees had structured their lives around it. The transition to the new timings showed little consideration for the impact on employees, and communication around the change was inadequate. * Weak leadership at the team level. Employee concerns about unrealistic daily deadlines were raised multiple times, but there was little meaningful support or advocacy from the team lead. * Frequent experimental changes to processes and infrastructure, many of which did not improve workflows and instead created additional confusion. * Employees were regularly assigned responsibilities outside their original job roles. What was initially presented as a temporary arrangement continued for nearly a year and remains an ongoing expectation. * Increasing workloads without hiring enough staff, resulting in employees taking on multiple responsibilities instead of building dedicated teams. Overall, my experience declined significantly after the organizational changes, and I believe the company needs to improve transparency, management support, workforce planning, and employee appreciation.

Pros

The people are the real deal. Genuine care for the students, passion and goodwill everywhere you look, with people going out of their way because they actually want the kids to do well. That kind of culture is rare and almost impossible to fake.

Cons

Growth has outpaced the systems and processes underneath it. Too much still depends on individuals holding things together in their heads rather than proper repeatable process, and the urgent stuff constantly eats the time that should go to the work that would make things less urgent.
