If you are thinking to apply for suitable position in this Organization. I would suggest you grab some hypertension tablets or have enough saving to undergo stress related illness treatment. 1. Low Salary: Convertex India is well aware that they should attract the best talent with robust knowledge and specialization although the package they provide is not competitive enough. 2. No PF ,ESI and Medical facilities : Company provides no facilities to the employees. They do not have any PF, ESIC Medical facilities and insurances provisions for staff. No benefits are given to the employees besides they have long list of deductions to be made. 3. High Attrition: Although the company was established 24 years ago, only 4-5 employees are retained above 1 year of their tenure due to its imprudent work culture. Even the Wada Pav center would have better retention of their employees as that of Convertex India Pvt. Ltd. 4. Leaves: Company does not provide ant paid leaves unless you have completed one year of employment in Convertex. However even if employee is eligible for paid ,they do not have freedom to utilize paid leaves too for all employees; owner decides when this paid leave should be utilized Furthermore If you take leaves for more than 3 days for family functions of vacations, one day extra is deducted from the salary without informing. 5. Errors in Salary calculations: Having so any deduction policy, salary calculations is ought to have errors. Also no salary statement are generated to provided lucidity to employees. Though you have all rights to ask for the breakup of your earnings. You need to take several follow ups to get you income statements. Salary is credited between 10-15th day of the month. There is no fix payday. 6. No Trainings Provided: If you have a thought that, on joining this organization, you will be elevating your skill. I am very disappointed to state, there are no learning-and-development offerings . 7. Less Importance to an individual: Due to monopoly of owner even if you are designated as a Manager, you have no authorities to take the decisions for you own team. Rather there is constant interference in your work and team members. Decisions are directly taken by Owner according to his mood swings. Only 2-3 Managers are given supernumerary importance as they know how to nod to each decision made by the owner irrespective of its outcomes. 8. Job Responsibilities: Even if job descriptions are defined yet owner makes no efforts to follow it leaving the employees in unclear work environment. Production person is given storekeeper’s work. Accountant is working is Sales executive HR is hired as Plant Manager Designer is working as Marketing Manager. LOL 9. Impulsive Owner: Owner yells at the employees and even continues to use abusive language on floor. He pays no heed of having an etiquettes to talk to a female. To conclude Convertex is one of the organization which stay away from the development of employees and no emphasis is given to in helping employee to meet their long-term career goals. Rather employees are treated as slaves and abused over their working , experience and education. Also how can I forget to mention that, this organization is Not Safe for Females.
