Pros
The company culture is what keeps me here, it's like an extended family, however it varies per business unit. There have been a lot of recent changes that are positively benefiting the employees and there are more to come. The company is taking strides to run more efficiently and as company of its size and caliber.
Cons
Throughout the years of fast and substantial growth the company is going through some growing pains. Faced with manufacture and product delays results in multi product delays/back order which changes the job dynamic from offensive selling to trying ti maintain and defend existing business. The competition seems to have the upper hand with innovation and wins business with low priced alternatives which is now the direction hospitals are taking (consolidating vendors and looking for price breaks ). The larger business until typically dominate all internal resources and the sharing of best practices across business units, departments, field based employees, US & international team has not been done in the most beneficial and effective manner to benefit each company. An identified career path has yet to be carved out, advancement opportunities are limited and when opportunities arise they typically post internally , prior to posting externally.
