Past history as a leader in the field of ceramics. Some remnants of this exist in a few select employees.
Cons
Not forward looking. Internally funded R&D almost nonexistent. Major corporate emphasis is returning cash to the family trust fund. Company has lost its leadership role. Majority of growth and new products comes from acquisitions rather than internal Groth and R&D. Customers have a negative image of CoorsTek.
