Remote culture can be hard, but they do a great job of trying to mitigate.

Good opportunity for professional skills growth within the confines of the position. Remote work was flexible and always appreciated. Good work environment (before new leadership). Good health insurance. Company events were fun

Hard ceiling for position advancement. Poor communication across teams. Benefits were minimal. No bonuses were given for years, company-wide. Lack of vision for true innovation. Company always struggled to reach sustained profitability. New leadership was toxic. That leadership fired one of the original founders which caused widespread discontent. Other leaders left the company at that point. Entire teams were dissolved for AI ambitions. Went from a 4-5 star work environment to a 2-3 star work environment within a short period of time. Resigned when it became clear I was on a sinking ship. Overall, the company lost focus on what mattered most, a quality product to be proud of. Leaders became hyper focused on profits and latest trends. That often spells the beginning of the end for any company.
