Pros

If you have a good regional and a building that’s actually well built then you’ll be better off than most.

Cons

Some regionals barely do any work and don’t offer any support. If you get one like that then you’re screwed. In order to move up you have to kiss butt and play the politics game or just lease well. (Which isn’t fair to those with weird floor plans or high prices.) Corporate was given mental health days and all these extras while the site teams were left to fight in the trenches. (Yes, we saw your lake trips on work days.) The culture is real if you’re in corporate but fake if you’re on site. If you have any ideas for improvement or questions you’ll be ignored or chastised.

Ouch! You're right, a good leader can make or break an experience, so we must say goodbye to those who don't live our values. Our promotions have increased 43% over last year, so our record of internal promotions is higher than most. We also launched an innovation program for people to submit their ideas; it sounds like you did not have the opportunity to take part. And yes, we have a lot of mental health programs and support to help those no matter their position. We wish you the best in your next career choice.

Pros

Great place to learn, collaborate with other teams, and see the results of the work you put in. Good benefits and relaxed work environment that makes being at the office a great place to work. The people really make this place what it is.

Cons

Summers are very busy (common for student housing) and collaboration across teams is not always a smooth process.
