Pros

- Intersting work to do

Cons

- Middle managmenet is a coin toss on on competence. Some are good, some are grossly inept - Executives are extremely out of touch and several are grossly underqualified. Take a minute to review the LinkedIn profiles of certain C-Suite and VP level executives - Incompetent leadership doesn't care that their actions make those under them miserable - Promotions are based SOLELY on who you know and who likes you - Too many underqualified people have been promoted - their lack of skill creates a myriad of problems that are then heaped upon people with less pay but more skill and experience - Work life balance does not exist at all. You are expected and required to immediately address all issues as soon as they arise - There has been 0 feedback collected from IC's in my 1 year of working here - There is 0 investment in fixing any problems. Those that complain are ignored, lambasted, or forced out altogether - Most FTE's are brought in by referral. Most natrual applicants get contracts or lower pay - 0 career development as 50% of managers don't even know how to do the job of their direct reports - The solution is always 'fire and hire' with 0 investigation into why average tenure is .8 years - Too many people are unaware/uncaring that their sloth and incompetence makes life miserable for those that actually get work done

Pros

The work environment is incredibly fast-paced, offering opportunities for professional growth. I enjoyed leveraging cutting-edge tools and technology, and the experience of working for a company in a state of hyper-growth was both exhilarating and exciting.

Cons

The company culture leans heavily toward a "tech bro" atmosphere that often feels unprofessional. While the environment encourages authenticity, it frequently crosses the line into inappropriateness, such as when a C-suite member used a racially insensitive term during an all-hands meeting. Beyond the problematic culture, the work environment is highly unforgiving. Employees are expected to consistently perform at a high level while working 60–80 hours per week, yet there is zero loyalty from leadership. The company demands total excellence, but even a minor mistake often results in management immediately planning to replace someone, even while they are training their successor.
