Wonderful Family Environment - Teacher Cornerstone Academy Employee Review

Cornerstone is progressive, yet focuses on strong values and educating the whole child. The Director seeks to find new and innovative ways to engage the students and staff. The setting is a storybook little red schoolhouse, tucked in the woods. We have acres of land to teach outside and the children learn to problem solve and work together everyday. We develop lessons that are individualized and we incorporate the interests of the children to keep them engaged and enthusiastic. There is a lot of creative freedom allowed.

With any school, it can be difficult to manage parental expectations at all times, but the majority of our families are extremely supportive and understanding. They know we have the students' best interests as our priority.

Most kids and some teachers were nice

Horrible Admin, cliquish and catty. Backstabbers everywhere. Screaming from everyone. The kitchen staff honestly run the place. Many students are violent and out of control.
