Cornerstone was/is a great place for early-career teachers. Very supportive and friendly working environment.

The pay and number of preps are not really sustainable long term for someone who wants to be a career teacher - especially as the primary breadwinner in a family.

This is a very strict school with very demanding behaviors and rules. Due to the asian culture, children are expected to do everything properly- from staying extremely quiet to aiming a perfect score on a test. After school program can be a nightmare because well the enrichment teachers are ran by students, yes, students who just graduated high school or beginning college. You often hear teachers screaming and yelling at their students. There is no positive redirection only negative disciplines against students who do not follow the rules or act accordingly. The ratio is also very high- 28:1 for a private school. After school teachers are very clique and does not help each other. When a new employee forgets to wear dress clothes, s/he often gets called out.
