Pros
+ Pleasant colleagues + Salaries not too low + nice and comfortable office + hybrid WFH arrangement and a good level of flexibility
Cons
What many people have shared before me. - company's values are only on paper - resistance to change - high turnover - upper management can be quite toxic, disconnected & uninvolved, and blames whatever is going wrong on the market conditions or their subordinates - salaries are not as high as in many similar jobs around the area. Sometimes on the same level, many times a bit lower. - raises are either very low or some years being skipped, definitely lower than inflation. - scarce opportunities to grow - favoritism - no proper recognition - performance tracking measures and KPIs were either irrelevant, or not being looked at in the first place I could keep adding to this list...
