It was a good place to work but since the company's bankruptcy all the people who genuinely cared about the company left and all's that left are people who only care about themselves.
Cons
The leadership of this company is incredibly toxic and has the ability to manipulate anything and everything to cover things up. It seems they do that more than actually run the business. Tiffany Bloomsky is not the CEO of Cortavo. Cortavo is backed by Aventis Systems so if you want to know the truth about Cortavo go look at how Aventis Systems treats it's customers and staff. Take any 5-Star reviews you see about either company with a grain of salt. During my time with the company we were incentivized to cover up negative reviews with positive ones. The "leadership" at this company has no actual experience beyond Aventis. The CEO and president are life long friends and started the company at the entry level stages of their careers. They wouldn't know true leadership if it slapped them upside the head. They only care about themselves and are incredibly fake. Don't be blinded by all the flashy perks to draw you in. Again, they don't care enough to help you plan for your future with lack of 401k match but will throw you into tens of thousands of dollars of debt for a car that's you're financial burden to carry on your credit report, not theirs. They'll take your annual increase and carry the payment as a way to "retain" you as an employee but if you leave or let go, it's your problem. Unlimited PTO isn't truly unlimited. I was told during my time there I was told I took too much more than the executived (it was 3 weeks) even though I consistently worked 50+ hour weeks. It's a other recruiting tactic they won't honor when you show up. This company can't keep or hold an HR person, that's how bad this place is. & Don't believe the 5-Star comment saying they're the only assistant this company has had, that's false information.
