Manager bullied most store employees as well as her assistant manager Lots of inappropriate gossip regarding her staff Would insult staff for following Planograms that she would have changed and not advise the staff prior to assigning the work. Would dismiss her assistant manager infront of us. Be rude to customers to the point many would come back when she wasn't scheduled to work in the store. The whole store quit on her being promoted. The old manager was so much better and fair with everyone. The few that stayed ended up quitting and/or asked for a store transfer. I don't understand why head office would keep such a toxic individual. It was clear she wasn't in the right team. Her reputation follows her as when shopping at different locations, they all had at least one negative interaction with her. Which is very unfortunate because she could of been such a great source of information and wisdom to create so much buzz regarding products, techniques and secrets of the trade. She needs to brush up on her people skills and be professional on the Job. She has so much to offer that would of benefitted the growth of her store as well as her employees. But with - no accountability for anything, - constantly passing blame on other employees - instigating divide amongst the staff These are sure ways to have - a negative impact on store revenue - employee morale - bad customer interactions It just leaves a lasting impression. The kind nobody wants. Ditch the attitude and people will be more encouraged to want to stick around at the st albert location. Kudos to the fort road location. Amazing manager and always pleasant professional and respectful interactions. That manager has synchronicity with her staff! She will definitely move up the corporate ladder. She was even such a great help to other stores as well! If we couldn't reach management, she was always happy to help and had a natural flair for teaching and passing on store knowledge. The very short amount of time we saw our manager exhibiting that same kind of enthusiasm and compassion to the select few employees she hired after losing all her staff. I definitely would of made this my long term plan. Now I sit and wait till she goes woek elsewhere before I ask ro be reinstated
