Pros
* Great People. Very knowledgeable and great to learn from. * Laid back environment * Good work-life balance. * Aggressively looking to improve
Cons
* Large disconnect between upper management and employees, but incredibly sensitive to the shareholders. A quarter where expectations are exceeded will still be met with layoffs and/or wage freezes if the shareholders aren't happy. Often times decisions are made without any feedback from the employees and major details are overlooked as a result. * Turnover is high, and the company doesn't put in enough effort to replace departing workers. It common for a departing employee's role to be reassigned to their subordinate without a promotion/raise or the hiring of a new employee. * Upper management is still trying to define the company's direction. New programs all over the company are started and ended at a moment's notice. Policies change often. * Very silo-ed. Communication between departments is extremely difficult. It's often easier to get support from 3rd party companies than using internal solutions from other departments.
