Flexible working arrangements, start/finish times & hybrid way of working
Cons
Management have their favourites. No career progression for more junior staff. They promised there would be opportunities for development when they did a restructure but turned out to be wrong. Line managers who are bullies and shouldn't even be in the role and people look the other way & do nothing about the behaviour
Usual public servant perks - easy to get WFH and other accommodations
Deadlines are extremely flexible
Cons
Double standards constantly
Women are treated as emotional rather than driven.
Men are given preferential treatment
HR and leadership does nothing about rampant sexual harassment
Lot of time spending writing policy documents that no one will ever read or follow
