Pros
Freedom to run your own business how you want and nobody looking over your shoulder. The staff cares about helping you improve and make more money. I have been an Independent Contractor with them for a long time and am actually able to do more stops and take more pieces and am making more money than before because they work with me and show me what I can do to make the most money I can. I have always known that I run my own business and knew it was on me to be as profitable as possible and THOUGHT I did it right. Now I feel like I have an actual coach on my side who breaks it down and she shows me the areas for improvement because the company wants us to be the best and make more money too.
Cons
As an independent contractor, you don't get health benefits and you have to keep good receipts and records to make sure you don't have to pay a lot of taxes. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are usually long days but very profitable. Hot in the summer months, hard work, heavy lifting. The work is hard and not for big babies. That part will make or break you. I see some guys come and go because they can't handle the Florida heat or because they are slow and can't hustle. This is a hustlers job so if you can't take the heat stay out the kitchen so the rest of us money hungry men can take the boxes and make the money if you don't want it. If you are not a money hungry hustler, you won't last!
