Pros
No pros, better to stay unemployed as your mind is going to be ruined for the pressure while reviewing difficult content in a dirty office.
Cons
It's a failing company that has been able to hire the most incompetent people as "managers" / "team leader". The company is "managed" in panic mode and with threats. Management agrees to unfair quality metrics, then cuts our bonuses when we can’t meet them. The mantra is “at least we have a job” and “if you don’t like it, leave.” The office is bare. They removed canteen and snacks and we don't even have a coffee machine... Cleaning staff have been cut to a minimum. You sit on dirty chairs at dirty desks. We bring wet wipes to work. Dust balls roll under chairs; giant stains cover the seats. Bathrooms smell so bad it’s a mystery how we haven’t developed a new illness. Not the cleaners’ fault, there just aren’t enough of them. When client employees visit, management panics and orders us to hide phones and stay silent. They run between desks with wide, terrified eyes. You work in a big floor with no separations with people talking different languages, talking loud, laughing and it's impossible to focus. People inside have become robots, they know that whatever is communicated doesn't make sense, just somebody was threatened to send that random email/message. Long term colleagues are exhausted. You make "career" if you have connections. You're stuck in front of your monitor (if your monitor even works) because of a system that marks you "unavailable" if you don't move your mouse within 7 minutes. They're trying to turn you into a robot. The final irony is that all of this is to train AI that will eventually replace us. I don’t think we’ll actually lose the jobs because of AI only but because everyone in charge is too incompetent to do anything. Best of luck with the strikes!
