Pros
After spending over 25 years working in the Construction Industry, I always knew there had to be a better way to build. From the time I started my union apprenticeship and worked my way to superintendent and from independent contractor to business owner, I've agonized over the inherent inefficiency, cost and waste involved with good old fashion construction. Specifically in home building. I believe Cover is on the verge of solving these problems. Using software, Cover has removed the need to hire general contractors, architects and engineers to create a custom home design/build experience. By focusing on large scale production. They have introduced a process that relies more on precision manufacturing than skilled craftsmanship. No more building one board at time! The opportunity to part of something bigger than my self is incredible. But, the opportunity to make beautiful homes more available to everyone is even better. Cover truly has something special. Working here is not only exciting, but when you love what you're doing and the people you do it with you're always inspired.
Cons
Cover is in its start up phase, so being flexible when overcoming new challenges can go a long way. Changing the world ain't easy!
