The only pro left is the flexible “unlimited” pto policy, which I take full advantage of. I wouldn’t be surprised if that ends up being taken away sooner rather than later.
Cons
McKesson has absolutely run this company into the ground in terms of employee satisfaction. I used to genuinely love my job, and every single week since the mass layoff in 2023 there have been changes that literally nobody is happy with. I cannot express enough how much my day is now micromanaged to the last second, and being a top performer is no longer worth it nor am I motivated to do so. They intentionally keep us understaffed and refuse to backfill positions as a way of justifying new, harsh expectations. Upward movement is way less common than it was. Please be wary that if you accept a position here, you will likely be underpaid, undervalued by upper leadership, and micromanaged to the point of suffocation.
