Pros

Decent pay. Unlimited pto. Remote.

Cons

Most employees want to move on if they could and apply to other jobs. The leadership consistently underperforms in every metric, but employees get blamed with twisted data.

Pros

Remote, unlimited vacation, cheap insurance, snacks in the kitchen

Cons

Working at Coviance was a deeply disappointing experience. The company's issues stem from poor management and a lack of clear communication at all levels. Leadership frequently fails to provide any meaningful direction, leaving employees to operate in a state of constant confusion. The company’s priorities seem overly focused on profits rather than fostering a healthy work environment. Layoffs are handled insensitively, creating a culture of fear and uncertainty among the staff. This contributes to a toxic workplace where morale is consistently low. The lack of transparency and accountability from upper management exacerbates these issues, making it difficult for employees to trust leadership or feel valued. Overall, Coviance falls short of being a company that supports its team or prioritizes ethical business practices. If you're considering working here, proceed with caution. There are better opportunities elsewhere where your skills and well-being will be genuinely appreciated.

Pros

Schedule Flexibility Unlimited PTO (and most people actually take it) Benefits are pretty good and deductibles are good for a company this size HR cares The People - some aren't great (see cons) but there is a solid core of amazing people that work here

Cons

The company went through a major re-org a year and a half ago and things have only gone downhill since then. Coviance had its issues before, but it's gotten WAY worse. "Good Ol' Boys Club" - sexism is the prevailing policy here. If you aren't an OG and are female, good luck Toxic Sales Culture - if you want any chance to have your career be successful, be fully ready to submit to any whim of the sales team. If you aren't willing to do that, you'll stagnate. Poor follow-through - LOTS of people that talk a big talk but have zero follow-through (or intent to follow-through). If you try to hold people to their word/follow-up on projects to ensure they're completed/etc be prepared for lots of resistance The easy way is preferred over the right way - if you care about things being done the right way, this isn't the place for you. You'll be in the minority and people will treat you differently for it.
