Pros

My time at this company was truly an incredible experience. It’s a fantastic organization to be a part of, and I had the opportunity to work across various departments. Everyone I worked with was incredibly supportive and motivating. Narinder Arora, in particular, played a key role in encouraging me to grow in my role, and within just three months, I had already advanced to a higher position. I always felt respected and appreciated. The management team consistently offered support and encouragement, making it a great environment for building meaningful relationships and learning new skills at every stage.

Cons

There could be a lot of walking around the company if your work is related to all departments like me, as the units are bit far from each other.

Pros

I gained a lot of experience and developed skills working in all departments. I worked alongside some nice people

Cons

Overtime is announced last minute. If you already have plans or you are going to see a sick relative or you have other responsibilities forget about it, you are expected to stay after your working day has ended.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed building your skills and working alongside the team—creating a supportive, collaborative culture is very important to us. We’re sorry to read your concerns about overtime, as this isn’t the experience we aim to provide. Overtime is intended to be voluntary and discussed in advance, with respect for everyone’s personal commitments. If this wasn’t your experience, we would genuinely value the opportunity to understand more. We warmly invite you to get in touch or visit us to discuss this in person. Nicola Cox

Pros

Struggling to find anything meaningful to put here other than you do get paid.

Cons

Having been here nearly a year now I can honestly say this is the worst place I've ever worked, can't wait to leave. You are massively micromanaged the management will tell you they are challenging your thought process to develop you, but the sad reality is it grinds you down and slowly destroys your confidence. Endless teams calls and meetings due management not having a clue what's happening on the shop floor. I was issued a phone and laptop shortly after starting that I thought was a nice touch, but the sad reality was I would be expected to do lots of unpaid overtime as well taking them on holiday. The company has no respect for personal boundaries, The owners seem pleasant enough on the face of it, they talk about nurturing and preserving talent, but I believe that have sadly lost their way and driving good craftsman away from the business. Employees are in a permanent state of anxiety, stressed out and generally feeling worthless/ burnt out. I have provided a one star rating that I believe is far to generous as I'm unable to score zero.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences of working with us at Cox London. As the founder of this business, I want you to know that I care about every team member’s well-being and experience. We have worked hard, both financially and emotionally, to build a family-oriented organisation where everyone feels valued, supported, and engaged. It truly pains me to hear that your time with us has felt challenging and that you felt unsupported or undervalued. I believe strongly in our core values: Empathy; Trust & Creativity; Wisdom & Curiosity; Authenticity; Professionalism; and Diligence, and I live by these principles every day. I expect our team to uphold these values too, and I am committed to fostering a culture that reflects them. Your feedback about micromanagement, stress, and burnout is deeply concerning, and I take it very seriously. Please know that I will share your insights with our leadership team as part of our ongoing effort to improve. As a very busy and fast-growing business, we recognize that there is always room for improvement in how we make meaningful changes to support our team better. I would be grateful for any further suggestions or insights you might have in the future – please don’t hesitate to contact me if you’re open to this. Your honesty is invaluable, as it helps us grow and stay true to the values that define us. I sincerely wish you the very best in your next role and thank you again for your candidness and for helping us improve. Nicola Cox
