At the end of your 'probationary period', it will inevitably be extended on numerous random reasons, for one, you'll be told that you have not completed tasks to their satisfaction, when in fact, you have had no point of guidance/help/advice or made to feel you cannot ask for assistance, with the threat of getting the cold shoulder and thus, made to work in an awkward environment. Really quite comical. They extend your probationary period based on whatever emotion they have plucked out that day, without any solid justification. They'll extend your probation so that they do not have to issue you with an immediate contract in the sense that as a business, they will aim to reduce their liabilities in any way possible (for as long as they can) Any constructive criticism you may have to create a better working environment, which will essentially benefit your team and senior management - will flat out be rejected and met with hostility, with a tyrant like behaviour.
