Pros

Great company culture and work-life balance.

Cons

When work is slow, employees are moved around suddenly and without much notice. Not a lot of room to grow or earn promotions.

Pros

Mostly nice coworkers and production incentives.

Cons

Where do I even start? For awhile this company was moving in the right direction by having sufficient training and a somewhat reasonable workload. Then the busy season comes around and instead of bringing in additional investigators, they create additional upper management positions and bring back a former manager, Stacey killingsworth who has no concept of the investigator day to day process. Staff are mentally exhausted and the quality of work is no longer emphasized as all that matters is the $$. I understand $ matters however when the quality suffers you will eventually loose clients. Management spends much time and effort discussing and meeting about numbers and money when they could more effectively using their time. Even if you are doing the best you can and working over it is still never enough!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We agree that CSI has a terrific staff committed to supporting our clients and each other; we’re also pleased to know that you enjoyed the incentive program specifically developed to ensure our turnaround time exceeds our customers’ expectations, while rewarding our staff for doing so. That all said, it seems that you’re really frustrated about your experience while you were here; I’m disappointed that things didn’t work out and we didn’t live up to your expectations. Regarding the areas you mentioned, I do want to offer a full account to round out the details you’ve provided. In the current labor market, there is an emphasis on our clients being able to staff open positions quickly; since our company is squarely in the middle of a hiring manager being able to onboard a new employee, turnaround time for our work product is mission critical. Additionally, I appreciate your attention to our focus on the financials that drive our business; it is a measurement that represents both the ability to provide appropriate resources to meet the expectations of our clients as well as maintaining a healthy financial picture to support our staff. Based on your feedback, we will reconsider how we talk about driving the key metrics of our business, including educating staff about their importance to our customers and to CSI. Your highlight of the hiring decisions within CSI is interesting; it tells me we didn’t communicate effectively enough around the strategy of our investments. By expanding the executive leadership team as we have this year, we are working on streamlining functions for scale – to make the process flow more efficiently for all involved. Our Senior Director of Operations is highly skilled as an investigator with over fifteen years in this industry herself and as a senior executive is responsible for toggling between those incentive programs you enjoyed, overtime opportunities, and hiring additional staff. Your input is invaluable, after forty-one years in the industry, we remain committed to self-reflection and continued process improvement. To do so, we require a collaborative approach with our staff, providing us feedback so we can get better together. Thank you for sharing! If you’d feel comfortable, I’d be interested in discussing with you directly. I can be reached at asklar@creativeservices.com.
