Good Small Company to work for - Software Developer Creative Veteran Productions Employee Review

I was treated like family when I was at CVP. I became ill and they went above and beyond to make sure that I was well accommodated.

I honestly do not have any cons to list.

General work space was adequate and majority of coworkers were friendly and fine to work with. Some senior members gave me valuable knowledge and insight to the general office workplace and added to my list of skills for future endeavors.

Meetings would often include people who weren't necessary for what was being discussed and took up time that could have been used for doing the actual work and contributed very little to the overall direction of the project. Deadlines were rarely concrete and often time we'd spend time working or a project/project proposal only to have it be cancelled abruptly. Employees would often be let go/were fired--I was let go because the project I was working on ended. I wasn't given 30 days notice and no severance, making things extremely difficult for me to get back on my feet.
