Pros
I have been working as a cleaner for Crewe Sharp for several months after working for another agency for over two years. I personally experienced a slow start in being offered shifts, which was annoying as I was continually encouraged to achieve the new starter bonus of $200 if you work 12 shifts in the first month of signing up with the agency. I think I was offered 1 shift in my first month-one of many misleading promises. The specific job listing which lead me to applying for the position promised shifts in my suburb, however I have not received any yet. Nor have I received a single night shift which I was promised. Fortunately, I am now getting 2-3 shifts per week in nearby suburbs. I personally enjoy going to different locations as it keeps me motivated and engaged. However, some facilities are much, much better than others. Overall, the greatest aspect of this job is the pay rate. It is significantly higher than other cleaning agencies. The onboarding process is a bit difficult though. You need every piece of documentation you own and more! All in all, my advice for new starters at Crewe Sharpe is to do your best work as it won't go unnoticed. Working in aged care facilities with vulnerable and suffering people has been very difficult at times, but the positive feedback I receive for going the extra mile has really touched me.
Cons
Inconsistent work, challenging working environments.
