Pros

There are no such things

Cons

Joining this company is my biggest regret of my life. After knowing about this company, i would rather sit at home and do nothing than join this company. They will show you hell literally, I would rather sell my soul to the devil than join this company. To tell about this company(Cons), I have no idea where to start from. The list gets bigger and bigger as i keep on saying it.Anyway here are few that comes to my mind. 1)There are no work ethics or professional behaviour from the management. They will treat you like you like a dog literally. 2)If you are to face the client and get a project, and if the employee fails to do so, the management scolds the employee and treat you very bad. They will say "you don't know anything " and some bad words. To the management,in such situations, just fire the employee and don't scold them as you have no right. 3) They will not give you hikes and bonus. There are employees in the company who are waiting for more than an year to receive a bonus and hike. When the employee realizes that and wanted to leave, they will start torturing the employee. 4)They expect to learn a technology within a day or two and if the employee fails, they will scold you so bad. 5)They make all false promises to the employees and as well as the customers. Many were already frustrated because of improper planning and unprofessional behaviour. 6)There is no project manager or team lead who can understand a customer requirement. There will be lot of ambiguity while developing a project due to this. 7)They change the company rules without any prior notice to the employee. And when the employee questions they will scold and say that they would do as they wish. 8)Unnecessary politics within the management and between employees. Especially those people who don't know anything will play politics to survive over there. 9)They cut TDS for all the employees but they do not pay the the tax or provide the employee with form -16. And finally don't get fooled by good reviews, those are very old ones. And the good reviews that are put recently are by the management.

Thanks for the review, we will address the grievances mentioned. 1 & 2. We have tried to provide opportunities to every developer in terms of experiencing the requirement from the client side. As rightly mentioned there have been times when opportunities have been lost at the cost of business. Even in such cases, we do not believe in firing people every time the company loses the project. The employee clearly sees firing as the solution, the management does not want to damage the profile of an employee over such issues. The employee, instead of waiting to be fired always has the opportunity to resign. 3. Hike and bonus are tied to the performance of the technical team, we follow a policy of performance-based bonus. Non-performers will not be rewarded with hikes and increments. We do not follow a policy of time-bound salary increment. 4. Being a technology-based startup, it is expected of the company to stay ahead in terms of core competencies. This leads to the expectation of a quick grasp of new technologies however no employee has been asked to understand technology in a day. 5. Employees are promised incentives/growth opportunities on the basis of specific milestones. The employees are given freedom to plan and perform the activities without micromanagement. If an employee has faced challenges in this regard it is expected of the employee to report the issue instead of getting frustrated. We provide assurances of quality and on-time delivery of the artefacts to the customers. Sometimes due to the incompetence of certain individuals, these milestones are missed. 6. Since most of the projects in the services have been resource-based the requirement of the project manager is irrational. Only 2 projects of significant size have been fixed bid projects, so the concept of project manager for 2 projects over 6 years does not make a lot of sense. 7, 8 &9: These are concerns which we have faced as a startup and we have tried to ensure that these issues are resolved as smoothly as possible. The behavioural issues of some employees cannot be a generalisation of the company work culture. We have taken appropriate action against employees who have indulged in unprofessional behaviour, politics etc. Response to the advice: We respect your opinion, but we strongly feel that you have misunderstood some of our policies. In 6+ years of our existence, there have been 2-3 cases where we have felt the need to release an employee on grounds of unprofessionalism. We can only suggest the concerned employee discuss the grievances with the management and if things don't work out the employee always has the option to move to a different organization. CronJ's fundamental philosophy is providing opportunities to developers which other similar organizations do not, that's how we have grown. We try and work like a group where every individual is treated with respect and compassion. We appreciate the feedback given and hope we have answered your concerns. All the best!
