Pros
The peer team was great. The culture and community amongst members was (is?) excellent. Some of the work is really fun and being part of the LA tech and innovation ecosystem is engaging. It's an excellent networking opportunity.
Cons
The CEO. Lacking leadership. Sexism is executive culture. Created a culture of fear. There wasn't any listening to or looking out to employees. Talent retention didn't exist at all. Many great employees cycled through. Turnover was high. There was a lot of lip service to building the community of members (the essential value proposition) but it was really a business play at commercial real-estate and slinging office space at a smaller square foot per person ratio. Big disappointment. Cross Campus had the opportunity to build a visionary and impactful company. Instead it got lost on trying to be WeWork.
