Pros

You will love your Co-workers. If you want a real advice or assistance you will need to lean on them. Management brings food in 3-4 times per year. After 90 days you can pay for dental insurance. You are also able to start a 401k.

Cons

Let me start by saying I am not a hateful former employee. I do want to give a real review for people thinking about working here. I believe it is best to be truthful and not boastful. You will be interviewed by a man acting as HR but is not licensed as such. You will shown salary advancements and opportunities in sales. You will not reach this proposed salary. I promise, even the longest standing sales agents who have dedicated family time and free time, do not reach this amount. You will receive overtime pay, you will receive commissions. You will not be warned or advised that commissions can take several months to pay out. You will not be told that you have 6 bosses who can all direct as they see fit. You will sit back and watch leadership take 2 hour lunches, buy new vehicles, act as a family, while they discriminate towards their employees. They are unable to keep agents because they are not truthful in their interviews and after 60ish days the new employees are made aware. Some employees are hired off the streets making more than the employees who have been there for years. If you believe this to be fair, then by all means proceed with your application. Their aren't many upsides to working here unless it's your first real job and you don't mind being at the bottom and making $10/hr. If you enjoy calling through lists of clients that have already purchased or stated they weren't interested, just to make another sale...then this is the job for you!

Pros

Excellent income opportunities. This is a career for individuals that possess the drive to succeed. Offers a lot of freedom and personal growth opportunities. Teaches self discipline and improves existing skills for sales, customer service, analytical thinking, empathy, and compassion (yes those are skills in this line of work) 8-5 M-F except during Open Enrollment Excellent vacation benefits Provides Dental coverage 401k match Unlimited earning potential If you thrive under pressure - this is definitely the spot for you

Cons

October 1 - December 15th is insanity. If you can't handle pressure this is not the job for you. The slow season can be incredibly boring and you must possess the drive and self management skills to survive the slow months. The busy season is only 1 quarter out of the year - pardon my language but you'll go balls to the wall for 3 months and the rest of the time is steady and "normal" which can feel like turtle speed after 4th quarter. It is incredibly difficult to break into this business your first year. Once you're passed the first year it's much easier to breathe financially. They don't promote very often and if you're good at your job you'll be stuck in that position for your entire career here. Yes there is a promotional chart for the agents but at the end of the day it really changes nothing for the agents even after they've achieved that status. While it's very possible to thrive in the same position, moving up is also incredibly important to me and I'm starting to feel stifled.
