- “Crothall 10” they expect you to work 10 hours- hence why the lock you into a salary position with decent money and crappy benefits. Weekends are also included with no work life balance. If the hospital is doing bad you’re expected to stay and help. Sometimes working 14+ hour days. - Unrealistic expectations - Upper Management is nonexistent, doesn’t manage and is very rude or they micromanage you to death once they are getting heat from their bosses but no in-between. They just tell you what needs to be done without giving you the steps or training to achieve it. - No communication throughout the different systems. Especially no communication between the same systems- seems to be no internal controls keeping the systems and hospitals synchronized. This would help with efficiency throughout if they were all ran similarly. - each hospital is ran a different way ^^ - auditing is intense and mostly made up numbers. Doesn’t make sense and they don’t train you in what gets audited and how to accurately keep the data. - they pretty much drop you in a hospital and wish you luck. While telling you to continue working and continue doing things UM needs without training.
