Pros
I started at CrowdStrike as an entry level sales development rep.
I worked in PR/communications for three years but moved to Austin with the goal of wanting to break into tech sales. Coming from communications I had very little tech experience and found myself incredibly excited to learn about cybersecurity, but also nervous about jumping in to such a complicated field. Everyone in the Austin office welcomed me with open arms and was more than happy to answer any questions I had when I was learning about the field, there is also a whole learning tool dedicated to education on the platform which is still very useful.
Even though I am now a manager, as an SDR I always felt comfortable approaching Directors and VPs which isn't something I found at any of my previous companies.
CrowdStrike is definitely a place that recognizes and appreciates hard work, if you are willing to go the extra mile and think outside the box it does not go unnoticed.
As a women in tech I feel supported by upper management and supported by the other awesome women in the office. It's been a massive change from my previous jobs in that I come to the office and actually enjoy the people I am working around.
Cons
Miscommunication between offices and sometimes between teams
