Really rewarding and engaging role connecting with founders and inspirational movers and shakers Spending time talking through the Crowdcube process is mega exciting and seeing their eyes light up People in the office are really friendly - the team mates are superb in giving feedback to better your sales ability.
Cons
C-suite aren’t transparent enough. A lot of it is to do with the macro economics but at the end of the day you will be a number and tossed aside when the business isn’t making enough even if you’re hitting targets. They will happily bin off a pipeline you’ve built up of over 1-2 years etc and will Replace you with an exact replica of you who has no pipeline or training so it makes no sense. C-suite also lie to you to guilt trip yiu Had two waves of redundancies recently and they never follow up to ask how you are. C-suite randomly one day imposed that you need to be in 4 times a week despite your contract saying it’s flexible and you only need to be in 2 or 3 days. Many left as a result. Crowdfunding is a sinking ship right now and as fun as it was, internally chaos was ensuing (despite all the positive marketing and PR they give off) so was never a long term career.
