Pros

Fantastic colleages...some of the nicest people I've worked with to be honest. The company really respects work life balance, and within the Product and Engineering team, there are literally no emails and slack messages outside work hours. It's very refreshing. Good perks and nice london office.

Cons

- 4 rounds of redundancies in maybe 2.5 years! Every time they don't hit their quarterly targets, they do another round. They are clearlky desperate to sell and need to break even to do so. - Zero strategic thinking...the sole 'strategic' aim is to break even, but they have no idea how and every two months, they change direction to another badly thought out idea, based on gut feeling.

Pros

Great benefits (desk beers, drinks, food provided, private health care, competitive pension) and fun team activities.

Cons

Mixed bag for management; some great managers and some just not so great. Opportunities for career development were very dependent on the specific manager.

Pros

Crowdcube has a lot of genuinely great people - hardworking, supportive, and passionate about their work. There’s a good effort to bring people together through social events and team activities. Work–life balance is achievable in certain teams.

Cons

The leadership team often displays unprofessional behaviour, and decision-making feels ego-driven rather than strategic. The company’s direction changes frequently, with flip-flopping on strategy each quarter as targets are missed. Staff turnover is very high, and departing team members are often not replaced, which puts a strain on the remaining team members. Pay is far below industry standards.
