Pros

Lots of opportunities to move around the organization if you have your funds raised.

Cons

You have to raise the funds to cover the cost of your employment (salary and benefits). Leadership tends to be overwhelmed and not able to lead their teams well. Supervisors don't really supervise.

Pros

There are many pros to working with Cru. Great people and great teams doing great work in the lives of students at the campuses where they serve. You really get to know fellow coworkers well, and feel connected doing ministry together. You also get to witness firsthand what God is doing. Cru also provides good support and flexibility for needs - whether it be mental health considerations, having children, or needing help on the job. There is also great training provided for the role.

Cons

Support raising can be challenging, even with support and training. National seems to be a little disconnected from campus teams at times.
