Pros

It's fun to watch an investment business making tons of money in China burn through mountains of money in North America.

Cons

This is a business that seems to be set up with the goal of failing. All of the senior executives are dinosaurs with no real knowledge about how to put together what they're trying to offer, no idea if anyone will use it, and a monetization scheme that makes you wonder how anyone could be this simple minded. The tech stack would not be able to handle even a fraction of the business they would like to do, and the interface is being designed by people who stopped learning about UI in 1998, it seems. No one who needs to listen will do so, they think they know it all.

Pros

Nothing except for the small team of developers that are kind.

Cons

The salary is always late, and I think it is intentional, that way you keep on working for free in the hope they will sort it out, but they never do, and when they do pay, it is done partially, they might pay for two weeks of work while still owing you two full months of salary. As of today, they owe us months of salary and the CEO keeps on making up fake excuses for delaying the pays. They know they can get away doing that, as the job market is not so kind, so people have no choice but to go with it. The higher ups people also keeps throwing a massive amount of work on the dev team, so you rarely have time to breath and be creative on your work. They always change their mind about what they want, so it is a constant refactoring of features that never ends. Even though it is a good project, I do not believe as a start-up they have the right people to make that company a successful one.
