Pros

Bupa healthcare (cashback scheme) as part of employment

Cons

Senior management are largely promoted based on "personal" relationships with the CEO/Founder, not on merit - definitely not on past experience within the industry. There is a chronic lack of professionalism within the head office as a whole, especially at Director level (although calling them such is very complimentary) Known for dodgy practices and ethics across the industry. Turnover is higher than average - morale is exceptionally low. Most staff members are set up to fail with very little support, most good staff members end up leaving in relatively short time, almost always due to lack of support, poor practices internally, and the overall management (or lack of). I wouldn't recommend working here to my worst enemies.

Pros

- Free beverages during shifts. - The role can build resilience. - Colleagues at centre level are generally friendly and well-intentioned.

Cons

Cubo Work is a deeply unethical and toxic place to work, led by a head office that is chronically incompetent, arrogant and unprofessional. HR is functionally nonexistent and health and safety concerns are widespread. This is sadly an inevitable result of a culture that prioritises cutting corners over accountability. Employees working at Cubo are held to wildly unrealistic expectations, despite receiving laughably inadequate training, poor resourcing and minimal operational support. Failures are treated as personal rather than structural, conveniently absolving leadership of responsibility. While many Cubo centre teams genuinely try to do the right thing, any attempt to question the status quo or suggest meaningful improvements is swiftly shut down by head office. Poor decisions are met with defensiveness and framed as disloyalty when challenged. The company culture is bleak and corrosive. Staff are treated appallingly, morale is consistently low and turnover is constant. The environment feels designed to exhaust rather than support. Prospective employees considering a career at Cubo Work would be wise to conduct their own research. The turnover rate is not accidental and it is not improving.
