Pros
Great benefits, vacation & sick & personal time, holidays off, remote work options, retirement. It wasn’t worth it to me at the end of the day compared to the cons. I did learn a lot about people and how the court works.
Cons
Didn’t enjoy the culture, politics were brought up often, little help from management, given a lot of work with little time to complete, I witnessed discrimination occurring and it caused a hostile work environment and no superior assisted in the matter, public is very rude with little assistance from supervisors, no parking for county employees, not a ton of opportunities for growth, pay is low and you’re expected to burn yourself out doing work while others can slack off
