I resigned from Cult.fit/Cultsport long ago - not just because of work, but because of how the company treated me during my family's medical crisis. During my spouse's critical surgery, I approached HR for assistance with the medical insurance claim process. What I experienced was nothing short of disappointing from a company that markets itself as health and wellness focused. The HR department was completely helpless. They informed me that the company was changing the third-party administrator (TPA) vendor, and because of this contractual change, they could no longer coordinate with me for the insurance claim process after the surgery. The HR team stopped responding, stopped assisting, and left me to navigate the complex claim process alone during one of the most stressful times of my life. It's ironic that a company that preaches health, wellness, and empathy showed zero empathy when it actually mattered. The HR team was more ruthless than the surgical scars my spouse bears. They were more concerned about contractual technicalities than an employee's genuine medical emergency. A company's true character shows during crises. Cult.fit/Cultsport failed this test spectacularly. - Good springboard for career advancement - Industry experience that looks good on resume
