Pros

Those who work for the company are good people at heart. The owner/leadership strategy is downright horrendous.

Cons

There are ZERO pros. They promise to take you on all these amazing trips. They say that you'll be able to travel the world when they offer you the job. Imagine... trips to Europe, trip to St. Barts... yet, they constantly pass over the hard workers in favor of their 2 or 3 office favorites. If you're in accounting, forget it. They're not sending you anywhere. They promise that you'll be rewarded for your hard work. Yet, they fight with you over bonus plans for months and months, even when you've clearly achieved your goals. You won't even get your Q3 bonus plan until January of the next year... if you're lucky. And if they do ever finally finalize your bonus plan, good luck trying to accomplish the ridiculous items they've come up with. Or, they'll say "Well, that bonus item is not going 'above and beyond' your job, so you shouldn't get a bonus ." Newsflash - it's pretty hard to go above and beyond doing EVERYTHING. Meanwhile, while you're sitting here making a case for why you should receive that measly $300 bonus item, the owner of the company is bragging about the $3,500 bottle of liquor he just bought. They say they have a great maternity leave and paternity leave policies... yet they fired the one employee who was able to take maternity leave within months of her returning to the job. Paternity leave? Sorry dads. You'll be back in the office in a matter of days after your baby is born. Even if you're NOT an employee and you're pregnant, you are treated like garbage. I watched a pregnant guest wait more than 45 minutes for a meeting, without an apology or a water (other than the ones I gave her because I felt so bad!). They say "we like to work hard and play hard." What they really mean is that you will work at a minimum 60 hours/week. You will work Christmas Day and New Year's Day. You will work every weekend, and as soon as you get home from work until the time you go to sleep. (Don't even think about asking for overtime.) Not to mention, the reason why you have to work all the time is rarely ever your fault. It's almost always because the owner changes his mind once again, or has this 'brilliant' idea that he thinks up at 4 pm on Friday and wants finalized by Monday AM. The owner pretends he is a huge liberal and advocate of women's right. Yet, he is essentially a spitting image of Donald Trump. He claims to be a Democrat, yet is registered as a Republican. Oh, and he tried to blame his entire female staff for letting Donald Trump win the election (yes - that actually happened. On group text.) If you're still wondering about his personality, simply google "narcissist." The company tries to say "but look at how many young women we've hired!" Yes, you hire young women because you think you can take advantage of us and treat us like we're garbage. You hire young women because you think we'll keep our heads down and our mouths shut. You hire young women because you think you can pay us less. And then, you think you can make comments about how we should have worn a lower-cut dress to that charity event. You hire women because you are a misogynistic pig who thinks you should be surrounded by pretty dolls who aren't allowed to talk. You are successful not because of your hard work, but because of the hard work of those who fell for your lies and empty promises. Even worse than all of this, is the fact that the owner is such a convincing con-artist that most of the outsiders-looking-in think he is a great person. They don't realize that he blatantly lies to get what he wants, and that he makes false promises on a daily basis. They don't know that he promises his employees the world when he hires them - and completely fails to deliver. They don't realize that not only does he talk trash about his employees and customers behind their backs, but he also tears down his friends and the organizations that he supposedly "supports." They don't realize that the main reason he puts on a major charity event year after year is that he gets to feel like a celebrity, while the true purpose of the event is to drive profits and recognition for the company. My only hope is that someone, somewhere is reading this, and is thinking twice about taking that job at Cuvee. Do not do that to yourself. You deserve much, much better. Run, don't walk, away.

Pros

Working at Cuvee is very exciting with all the luxury homes, destinations, and interesting guests! My colleagues are some of the hardest working people in the industry. Each team and destination collaborates and works diilgently together to provide our guests with a highly personalized curated experience they desire. Our team is very passionate about our product and we believe in the vision. The benefits are good and some extras include traveling to visit the beautiful destinations and villas in our collection.

Cons

It is stressed when interviewing that Cuvee isn't for everyone. It will require some work during the weekends and evenings. The pace can be fast at times but, if you enjoy a challenge, you will love it!

Pros

There was truly no pro to this company.

Cons

The most toxic work environment I’ve EVER worked in. Upper management is a joke and incredibly micromanaging and condescending. They will yell at people and belittle them. Absolutely no work life balance. Be expected to have to answer calls/emails/texts at 6 am or 11pm and on weekends. Was absolutely berated for not responding to an email within 5 hours because I was not in town for a 3 day holiday weekend and was told I should’ve have used a PTO day for it if I wasn’t going to be available. CEO and COO lead with fear, manipulation and there’s just flat out weird vibes there. Also VERY high turnover and previous sales reps not getting paid. Don’t let the fancy pretty villas and false promise of making good money fool you - RUN from this company. Traumatically horrible!!!

We were surprised to read this review, as it does not accurately represent the experience or culture of our organization. While we understand that not every role is the right fit for every individual, we feel it’s important to clarify a few points. In the situation referenced, a client was actively looking to book and management was unaware the employee was unavailable, as no PTO or out-of-office notice had been submitted nor was the "off grid" nature of this trip discussed with any team members. In a client-facing luxury sales role, proactive communication about availability is essential so coverage can be arranged and we are always up front with every sales team member about this from day one. We also categorically reject the claim that sales representatives are not paid. Our commission structure is clearly documented and consistently honored based on the Commission Agreement each eligible employee signs. Luxury hospitality is fast-paced and performance-driven, and while that environment is not for everyone, many of our team members thrive within it.
