Pros
flexibility in choosing a schedule that works best for you (depends on tenure and availability), good team camaraderie, a fair amount of freedom to structure classes/playlists how you want to, a fun community, moderately good pay for instructors (could be increased to match COL increases)
Cons
some of the equipment is outdated/malfunctioning (especially the bikes) and needs to be updated ASAP! Training is often unpaid and while they cannot mandate attendance, it is highly encouraged.
