Pros

Amidst uncertainty, the company's future remains bleak, with nothing good to report.

Cons

In the fiercely competitive world of corporate leadership, certain individuals can emerge as striking contradictions to their own professed ideals. The CEO and COO of this firm, whose actions appear to undermine the very principles they often espouse. Despite occupying their positions for a relatively long period, their leadership style has already raised eyebrows among employees and industry insiders, with clients expressing similar concerns. Within a week of their new employees arrival, these executives have vociferously articulated their vision and mission for the company which they can't follow. However, they seem to struggle with effectively communicating and embodying those values themselves. Their inconsistency and failure to lead by example have led many to question their credibility as role models within the organization and beyond. What's even more troubling is their online reputation, particularly on platforms like Glassdoor, where employees candidly share their experiences but CEO tend to be defensive. Regrettably, the feedback is far from favorable. The apparent inability to execute the company's mission and vision has caused disillusionment among the workforce. Instead of focusing on strategic initiatives that drive the firm forward, they are squandering time on trivial matters, resulting in frustration and a lack of confidence in their leadership. Compounding these concerns, the company's overall situation has suffered a significant blow. Despite being in charge for nine years, the executives have failed to secure any substantial investments over the past two years, placing the organization's growth prospects in jeopardy. The company's empty promises have me contemplating my departure—endless talk, no action.

Hi there, Thanks for your feedback and sorry Cynopsis didn't meet your expectation. Actually, I'm quite excited about the renewed vision of Cynopsis and have articulated that to the team recently. It is especially refreshing as we let the old dust settle and fade away and welcome the new dynamics we now have in the office. People is one of the 5Ps that drives Cynopsis. Product, Process, Priority and Profitability are the other 4Ps. Everyone plays an important role in the organisation. We have a relatively open and flat culture at Cynopsis. If you have any real suggestion how to make Cynopsis a better place, please feel free to share more constructive feedback with us. Thanks Chye Kit CEO

Pros

Wow. Just wow. I was merely an intern back in 2022, but even I’m utterly shocked—no, astonished—at some of the posts I’ve seen. Truly heartwarming to see management demonstrating such inspirational leadership by publicly dragging their own employees. So classy or? And to think—some of us were under the silly impression that mutual respect and integrity were part of the company culture. Silly us! But hey, what do I know? I was just an intern. I’m sure this bold strategy of torching your own team definitely won’t come back to bite anyone. Nope, no reputational damage, just pure, unfiltered genius. Really makes you wonder if "shooting yourself in the foot" is now a core value.

Cons

Honestly, the list of cons here is so long, I’m surprised it hasn’t been published as a novel yet—New York Times bestseller, obviously. Pros? Oh, sure, if you count free coffee and the character development that comes from enduring chaos. Really makes you reflect on your choices, doesn’t it? Like, what a brilliant move it was to choose this firm—truly a career-defining moment… just not in the way one would hope. Nothing like a nice little stain on the ol’ CV to keep things interesting. It's giving "learned the hard way." But hey, at least now I know what red flags actually look like—in high definition.
