Pros
Company was held in high regard at the time I applied.
Cons
I completed my application in full, only to be contacted three months later by a recruiter asking me to fill out the exact same application link. After politely clarifying that this was already done, I was scheduled for a language assessment.
To prepare for them, I blocked out my schedule and intentionally left my on-demand interpreting pools one hour prior to ensure 100% availability. I prepared thoroughly, researched the company, and logged into the Teams video call five minutes early.
Unfortunately, both the recruiter and the assessor were a complete no-show. I received no email, no phone call, and no prior warning. When I reached out just after the appointment time had ended to ask if they needed to reschedule, I received a "So sorry about this." with no explanation, simply asking when I was next available. I found this extremely unprofessional and a very poor first impression/ lack of seriousness of your company.
As an interpreter, my time is my livelihood. The complete lack of professionalism and disrespect shown by the recruitment team before even establishing a professional relationship is a massive red flag.
