Pros

-Great onboarding experience -Easy promotions (depending on department/branch) -Best insurance benefits

Cons

-The management was super inconsistent and at times, very neglectful, especially during peak branch hours when approvals are needed most -Understaffed BEYOND belief. There were times I was holding responsibilities of running the branch. - I was told by my manager that, because of my age, I may not get a job in upper management even though they just hired someone who was the same age as me... if that tells you anything about ageism (-: -At the time, the procedures for some transactions were consistently being changed and affected a lot of employees, negatively, when being audited and created a lot of confusion for employees when performing transactions - Employees that have been with the company for a longer period will often discuss inappropriate work topics or be disrespectfully gossiping about our members after they would leave and it created a very hostile work environment that I never felt comfortable in. It seemed their behaviors were excused due to their seniority and favoritism. In my branch, there was an employee that would go as far as threatening our members when provoked and it's been a reoccuring issue that management does know about. Yet he remained employed

Cons

The need to redact my role out of fear of retaliation by upper management / HR. Executives are very out of touch with their employees. This radiates down to all management. Pay is the lowest end of competitive possible. Sick days do not exist. You are allowed 2 unexcused absences per YEAR before your review takes massive hits. Little to no educational support to progress professional development. Job duties for most roles tend to encompass far more than job descriptions will state. Workers and managers that show ineptitudes tend to excel through politics until the ineptitudes no longer can be looked away from. At which point they toss them aside (as should have happened long ago) pretending like it was all new information. This will then rinse wash repeat. Most (not all) executives appear to care more about loyalty their egos being catered to and therefore seek out "yes men" to fill key roles. Anyone who brings up issues will be gaslit by management in order to avoid rocking the boat. Turnover rate has gotten exceedingly high in recent years. Most state similar issues.
