Pros
Great Health benefits, 3 weeks paid vacation and good 401(k) plan. They prize you with monthly employees of the week to keep the morality positive. They always celebrate birthdays and so monthly sponsored events such as barbecue events paid by the station and catered by them.
Cons
Their technology is completely outdated. Using dot matrix printers, not templates in the system for customers when creating bookings, their management is very biased on who they want to see grow up in the chain ladder, poor lack of training with no real management support. All they showed you was CBT's (computer based trainings) without a manager's support because they themselves are lacking training. Their global website is so confusing and convoluted that it is so difficult to find contacts around other DB Schenker contacts. Also, please be less rigid on schedules. You must call and speak with a manager if you are going to be late and you get pushback from management if you need to leave early or come in late at time so they are not flexible and no overtime is permitted. They are extremely difficult with the time and schedules that people need to adhere to. Very little growth opportunity and their salaries are not competitive enough.
